LE KLINTのUnder Coverシリーズはランプの中のシェードを入れ替えることで色々なデザインを楽しむことができる照明です。 照明は主に日が落ちてから光に照らされた灯りを楽しみますが、このSAKURA/KIKUは消灯時と点灯時で異なった表情をみせます。 見えないところに拘りをもつ日本人の粋な心と、自然との共存を大切にする北欧の心がひとつのランプシェードに融合されました。 例えば日本の着物には表から見たときはシンプルでも、裏地には華やかな色や模様をあしらっているものがあります。このSAKURA/KIKUも日中は表のホワイトと淡いグレーのシンプルな模様だけが見え、ランプに明かりを灯した時に初めて裏に隠れていた色模様が花開き空間に彩りを放ちます。

KIKU (chrysanthemum) and SAKURA (cherry blossoms) are both flowers of great artistic and symbolic value in Japanese culture. The inner shades of the lamps are produced using a double-sided print technology, which gives the lamps a fantastic play of light. When off, only the elegant white and grey pattern in the lamp is visible; when on, the colorful pattern of the flowers seeming unfold into full bloom.
