OBUSUMA is a furniture brand produced by a community workshop where people with disabilities get support and technical training for employment. We aimed to create a brand that utilizes the different skills and abilities each person posseses.

tonaは河東梨香が主宰するデザイン事務所です。日本人の父とデンマーク人の母の間に生まれ、旧ソ連、スウェーデン、日本で幼少期を過ごした経験を生かし、テキスタイルからグラフィック、家具、医療福祉環境まで幅広い領域で色と素材感を大切にしたものづくりを実践しています。
Taking inspiration from multicultural background
tona is a Tokyo based design studio, founded by Rika Kawato. Taking inspiration from her experience living in different countries and encountering various cultures, she provides designs with carefully thought out tone of color and texture. She now works in a wide range of design fields such as textile design, graphic design, furniture design, healthcare and welfare design.
